Any method to check these gauges?

As a follow up to earlier email, had another question regarding a boat that has sat for a while, and many of the instrument face plates have been broken due to kids throwing rocks in the boat.
Is there a way/process (perhaps with an ohmeter) to check any of the follwing gauges without the boat up and running?

Trim
Fuel
Temp
Amp meter
Tach

Some of them you can check with a hot battery installed.

Gauge internals exposed to the elements? Replace them, wouldn't even waste my time. Might work now, not likely later.
