If any of you have read my ?'s or posts it should be clear that ive never had a boat before, but things are going well and thank you for you help..so one more question ( this may be the one that get me laughed off this website)...I have a 90 HP 1980's outboard...I donot think i have any anodes/zincs on the motor..One reason for this is i have one in a box in my drawer. I have no idea where to put it , , its a circular disk with a shark fin on it ( i think it's a fairly common part.) does anyone have a diagram for where zincs go on an outboard..thanks

Re: anode/zincs help!!

I would recomend going to a web site called boatzincs.com look up your engine info from drop down menu and along with that they have diagrams of where and how many zincs you will need they also sell the kits you would be useing or you could purchase the kit's from iboats ect. do not use magnesium in salt water.
