Re: Ahoy, Navigator! Did I mention...
Hey JB,
Calm down! I know I was opening a can of worms. I do have insurance (cost alot) and I am very carefull. I called contender and spoke with the some of the engineers all of which said this was not a problem at all. I do not use wot to get on plane and I do not run wot in rough seas. But when there are 5 boats heading to the same spot me being the smallest of all (2 of the other boats are normally 35 contenders with triple 250's) I need the extra help getting there.
I am a young person unlike your self and I do not have the wisdom that you do. I do have a ego and macho problem. Maybe someday I will out grow these. Also I was not bragging about the boat, motor, breaking of the law, or the risking of my life.
Please don't jump to conclusions about not being safe (I did take the time to call contender multi times untill I could speak with someone who designed the boat) If you ask me I think what is not safe is a bass boat that is less than half the size of my boat with a 250 running 80 mph on a river.

I am young and I am going to make mistake's but I do try and take advise from folks that have already been there.

Sorry about not responding I do have to work every now and again. I do not think you are a jerk

I tring to learn to take criticism a little better But I think that religion thing you talk about kept's getting in the way or maybe it could be my temper or maybe it is my age (21) my wife keeps telling me that I will learn someday ( I hope so )

No hard feeling

Wesley

P.S.
My car insurance is alot more than the boat. I have wrecked two lexus's in the past year
(never had a ticket)
