Well it all began last week when I had my boat out fishing. It was running great and all of the sudden lost power as if it was starving for fuel. The only way I could get home was to keep pumping the primer bulb every 30 seconds or so. The boat would run for about 3 minutes and the siren would start beeping so I would shut it down for a few minutes before I continued. Today I checked all the fuel lines and they all looked good, the filter did not show any trash, and the fuel seperator is fairly new. So I was going to swap out the fuel pump off of another powerhead only to find out that it is a 3-wire and the current pump is a 4-wire plug. Will this pump work with some re-wiring or do I need another. I am willing to do away with the VRO if I have too. Thanks.
