hello I have a 1986 starcraft, 16ft dc with a 1992 johnson 88 special turning a 13.25x19 prop. The question I have is I am only going 38 with 4 people or by myself , am I under propped? thanks pappy3
even with a new prop, you wont get that much out of that motor, 38mph is clipping along pretty good for that boat and motor, thats enough to ski behind for sure,
The boat jumps out of the water with 4-5 people in it! I had another boat same year but with a 1975 johnson 70hp running a 21 pitch and it went 42 mph! This being a 1992 hardly used 90 hp I should get closer to 45 I would think?? But that is why I am here asking everyone's opinion THANKS
