i have a 85hp force that is backfiring when trying to start. its shooting flames out of the exhaust. is it the timing? or is it something more simple? i am kinda new at working on 2 cycle motors. if its the timing how do i get info on how to ajust the timing or is it to complex to mess with. i am pretty mechanically incline on most things but not boat motors.if anyone can help would be a plus.also i used starting fluid trying to get started this spring thats whats started the backfiring could i have backfired it iut of time that way? motor ran fine last year. hope someone can help.<br />thanks<br /><br />------------------
