85 Johnson 6hp --- smoking badly

I have tried EVERYTHING!!! My johnson 6hp is smoking horribly bad. Thick white smoke coming from what appears to be everywhere.<br />I have mixed and re-mixed oil/gas mixture and changed plugs,rebuilt carb.<br />Any ideas on what else I can check???<br /><br />HELP!!!!<br /><br />Thanks all!!<br /><br />Jason

your exhaust manifold gasket could of went but your cylinder would probably get wet too. the only other thing i can think of is the amount of oil your putting in the mixture it sounds too rich

when u say everywhere what do u mean and how does the motor run, but it sounds like a gasket to me cause i thought oil is blu smoke and if it was to much oil it would be coming from everywhere also what mixture are u using?
