78 Johnson 115 Start battery Questions

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade my batteries and need to know how many CCA's are required to start my motor. I currently have one start battery and one trolling motor battery. All of my house loads are on the start battery. That said, should I get a Deep Cycle? Any advice would be appreciated.

for the price difference why not get a 1000 amp marine starting battery and run the rest on a deep cyle size 27 .... all depends on time x amps draw on the troller.

some of the new $$$$ Lithium phospate batteries are realy powerfull and half the weight almost

jmho. thankfully my 75ETEC will start on a hand pull if my battery is dead.
