This is probably a very simple question. I am in the process of rebuilding the carb and as I took the bottom bowl off the needle valve fell out. I have the clymer manual and it doesn't show which way the needle valve goes back. It's not even shown on the carb diagrams, which I find odd.
Does the pointed end go into the carb, or does it point out and hit the float lever?
I'm guessing that it goes pointed end in, but just want to verify.
