Hi Guys,

It was a wonderful weekend for Aristocrafts at the ACBS Lake Chatuge, GA rendezvous. We were treated to seeing 5 Nineteens: yellow, red, burgundy, brown, blue. They were docked all in a row to get a great effect.

Some photos of the show can be seen at woodyboater.com and miraclephotograghy.smugmug.com (click on boats, then ACBS boat shows, then 2011 Chatuge. It really got me stoked to get going on ours again.

Thanks to the Turners for the great turn out.

You know, my 1969 Aristocraft (140 hp) was a great hull, and had plenty of room with the driver's seat so far forward. It would have been a great boat with a modern 4.3 Mercruiser engine.

The hardtop made styling very distinctive. I removed it for the Summer, as it was hot and loud with it.

Too bad times change--and styling changes.

I see you guys met @ Lake Chatuge. I keep a RV @ Helen, and spend some afternoons at Lake Burton when in the area. I heard tornadoes damaged 115 houses and destroyed something like 35 houses. I would hate to see what the owners' Buckhead houses look like if their weekend houses are 15,000 square feet. Virtually every house has a SkiNautique, a pontoon and two PWC's in their $250K boathouses.
