40 HP Johnson, just tilt or tilt/trim?

Hi folks. Just picked up a '93 40 HP remote. It has a good sized, single ram mounted to the pump. Putting the model # (VJ40TLETB) in, I got this.

It calls it tilt/trim. The piston IS fairly big. So, is this trim too, with just a single ram?
Not a big deal, it's for a pontoon and being on the river, I need tilt more than anything. Trim would be a bonus.

I would think if they are calling it tilt and trim then yes you can trim with it.

There was a note on the parts page you listed Power Trim/Tilt "F" Model Number Suffix Only

do you have that in your model number?

The b and f suffix blowups were on the same page when I looked. Mine is b, but they both looked the same as far as I could tell with a quick look.
