This is going to be kind of a restoration thread. Not a total resto but I;m going to do a repaint of the yellow and the trailer.
But as the title says removing just 25% of my side stripe took 4 1/2 hours what a pain004.jpg006.jpg092.jpg

If it was easy we'd have women and children restoring boats!

I have used the pinstripe eraser before. But I thought this stripe would be too thick for it. But as it turns out it is thinner than one of those dollar store black trash bags.

Use the hair dryer ... too much heat can be too much ( especially if you have metallic in your stripe ).

Pull slow .. get a wad of tape and keep the pull equal to the surface. You can possibly hit a weak point where the tape pulls off fast..but dont go for that!! Do it slowwwww .. All tape has its "pull" .. you want to take the tape off With the adhesive. If you dont do this then your in for some razor scraping and a lot of chems..

Go ... S l o w ... and equal to the tape width .... Ez does IT better then try it fast and quick...
