i have a 1990 glassport 165 with a mercruiser 3.0 and alpha 1 outdrive. i bought the boat as a project thinking it just needed some cosmetic work, but it turns out it needs a new floor also. this is WAY too much work for me. i am wondering if someone who knows alot more i do can tell me what this engine and outdrive is worth, or if someone on here would be interested in this boat for parts or repair. thank you all for any assistance you can offer me.
P.S. before anyone says it, i already know i should have researched the amount of work required before i bought the boat, instead of buying the boat and then researching it. oh well, another lesson learned! sticking with aluminum boats from now on!
