280 outdrive bell housing seal and bearing replacement

Hey everyone I am looking for information (Diagram, manual, etc. ) on the replacement of the shaft seals and bearings on the bell housing for a 280 vol o outdrive I have everything apart any info anyone has on how to put it all back together would be extremely appreciated and helpful thanks

Also if anyone has any pictures of what the shaft should look like that would also be very helpful tha is in advance

Is the engine out of the boat? If not and you have 4 cylinder then everything can replaced from the rear. Clean out the grease and remove the seal then the snap rings. The shaft and bearing can be pulled out with a slide hammer screwed into the shaft. Worse case could be the shaft splines rusted into the engine flex plate. Then you are in deep dodo.
V6 or V8 the engine needs to be removed to replace the front bearing.

The engine is out and bell housing is removed I just have no information on bearing and seal part numbers or order they go back together

The bearings and seals are all generic and can be purchased at any NAPA or bearing supply.
