28' sailboat trailer wanted or help making one

Hi Everyone, we have a 28' Islander Sailboat that we are looking for an inexpensive trailer to haul home (50 miles) for the winter season, or help/ideas on how to make our own trailer, or modify one to work. This boat weighs 8000 lbs and has a 9'10" beam. Hubby is very handy with a welder, so this may help. If anyone has any information (or an inexpensive trailer for sale) PLEASE let us know as it would be GREATLY appreciated, thank you.
