Cup and X-Men are on tap this weekend at Bristol. Still no fans, practice or qualifying, but for the next few weeks we only have one Wednesday race, the rest will be Sunday or Saturday Cup races. X-Men race on Monday due to the rain delays at Charlotte and slowing equipment transfer from Charlotte to Bristol. MRN's schedule for Sunday and Monday;

News and Notes
  • Races will not have fans in the bleachers until sometime in June depending on state COVID-19 rules.
  • Maybe hopeful optimism - Nascar has a Buy Tickets link for the Pocono double-header. Subject to change and Pennsylvania COVID-19 rules.
  • Pit box selection through Talladega will be based on prior race results - All three series.
  • Again through Talladega - Starting positions for Cup, X-Men and Trucks are set by owner points and random draw. Keso has the pole for tomorrow.
  • Talladega will have a Cup practice session because of a new supers peedway package - 501 HP and aero package are new beginning at Dega. No qualifying and will be by random draw.
  • Nascar only has a modified schedule though June and will release more dates next week.
  • The All-Star race will be a mid-week race, probably on an undetermined Wednesday date.
  • TV Ratings - With this topsy-turrvy schedule, ratings are hard to find. And I can't find any for Wednesday.

iBoats Fantasy Live
  • Humpty's buddy, GA_Boater won the 🍑 in Wednesday's Cup race, an upgrade from an acorn.
  • osby1, 64osby, is hangin' on to the overall lead.
  • No bonus points for picking the the pole this week.
  • Race rosters lock at 3:48PM EST tomorrow before the race.

Good luck and stay safe out there,

Two failed inspection for the race. Preece and Gaulding failed twice, so starting in the rear,

Heats end on laps 125, 250 and the last lap, barring OT, lap 500. Competition cautions at lap 20 and an unusual 2nd CC at lap 60. Fuel window is 150-169 laps.

We're closing in on roster lock at 3:48.

Step away for a minute and Blaney spins and is hit by TDillon. Blaney's front end ripped off and done for the day.

Elliott first out of the pits.
