NASCAR also is recommending to teams that drivers only sign hero cards and to have them pre-signed ... and appearances recommended to be in open-air setting ... NASCAR also is eliminating the NASCAR-organized appearances in race markets in the weeks leading up to the race.
The question is what happens if a city or state bans large gatherings. As of this morning, GA had 6 confirmed and 18 possibles, all clustered in the Atlanta area, which Hampton is part of. One of the confirmed is a Waffle House employee 2 miles from my house.

The Nascar race at Homestead next weekend is postponed. Nascar is said to be working in a plan, one may be no fans. No word on this weekend, some announcement is coming at 1 PM.
