Here we go again fellas. It's Football Season! Had a few college games already. Now we're headed to the first NFL game that actually means something...

NFLs 100th season...........

Kicking it off with the Packers against Da Bears at Soldier Field Thursday Nite.

Looks like we have 12 participants so far. Going to be a good season....

Nothing new to report that hasn't already been said in the News/Banter Topic.

Da Bears are supposed to be the team to watch this year. I guess, maybe.....

Zeke got his $90 mil over 6 years. Top paid running back. Why? Because he's the best! Not my words, Zekes. $50 mil guaranteed......

Antonio is still whining, who knew! At least he found a helmet.....

I'm in first place and intend to stay there until the opening game clock ticks down to zero tonight.

Apparently there is a "loop hole" in Zeke's "guarantee that means he won't get the guarantee.

And AB's twitter post supposedly led to a heated exchange between Mayock, the Raiders GM and AB. League sources are saying AB will be suspended. (Had to add this ... https://www.barstoolsports.com/bars...-telling-mike-mayock-fine-me-for-that-1407916 ...it doesn't get any better than Vontaze Burfict holding AB back during altercation.)

Colts are counting on Jacoby Brissett (and gave him a 2 year, $30mil extension with $20mil guarranteed), but have brought in veteran Brian Hoyer to back him up.

Redskins don't trust the health of RGIII to back up Jackson, so they kept Trace McSoreley on as the 3rd QB. That bodes well for McSoreley as he gets more NFL experience.

Will the Steelers perform better or worse than last year after officially losing arguably their top 2 talents, and their top 2 distractions?

McCoy out in the Bills camp, Devin Singletary and Frank Gore will get the load. Will that be enough to help Josh Allen find his groove?

Will the Patriots with their injuries and aging QB be dominant again this year, or will this be the year that everyone that underestimates them and hopes they do poorly finally get it right?

It is shaping up to be an interesting year and over the next weeks and months it will all become clear.

As for AB, if he misses the first game because of suspension, the Raiders COULD waive him, ask for his $1MIL signing bonus back, and have $0 against the cap, and $0 guarantee... AB’s agent is working overtime with the Raiders to smooth things out ...

From what I read, AB got into a furious row with Maycock over the fine and threatened to punch him in the face and another player held AB back.

I also saw that Dallas now has big cap problems because of Zekes's new contract.

I'm ordering new water wings for that boat ride.
