as stated in the new post it takes afew seconds up to 30 for the water to fill the block. That would be normal but it shouldn,t take a full minute. which is it 30 seconds or 1 minute. Although there is more than likely no damage done to the engine as it did fill and pee. I would keep an eye on it. You may have a worn impellor cup Plate and or impellor fins.
