2007 aqua patio tritoon instrument gauges not working

Hello, brand new to boating. Day 4 on the boat and I noticed the gauges (trim/fuel/speedometer,etc) were not working. They seemed to come on once as I was watching them and then no more.
Any advice? Thanks so much.

start by grabbing your multi-meter. you have a bad connection somewhere

you should have continuity to the battery ground on all of the black wires

you should have power on all the purple wires when the key is on.

When you start checking voltage use the common ground that is connected to the gauges.
