2004 Johnson 9.9hp Bombardier with no model tag on the transom clamp. Help!!

Hi all,

I have a 2004 Johnson 9.9hp Bombardier with no model tag on the transom clamp. I have located the Welch plug on the block, but it reads 22 031507 which I think is just the serial number. Is there any other way to id the model number?

So who do I go to to get harnesses, cowl clips, etc.? Can I just walk into a Suzuki boat dealer and ask for the parts department? I am really after a wiring harness (you can see in the photos that the wires coming off of the Power Unit have been cut) and a set of proper controls. I bought the wrong one (14 pin Merc control).

Any Suzuki dealer will help you.----Is this motor in running condition?----Is there a story?----Strange that wires were cut.

no tag.. cut wire....deal on craig list.... humm..... must be a boat somewhere with a missing motor.
