2 stroke or 4 stroke

I have a 2008 triton 187 boat w/90 go mercury outboard engine. It has 3 cylinders.

On every motor I can think of, if it's a 4 stroke, it'll say 4 stroke on it somewhere.

If it's a 2 stroke, generally there's an external oil tank where you would add 2 stoke oil as required - OR - a place where you could add 2 stroke oil right on the motor - without - having to remove the cowl.

I'm going to say 2 stroke because 90 hp comes in 3 cyl. Most 4 strokers of that size use I4s as I recall......for a simplistic reply.
