1999 Mercury XR6 150 Blown Headgasket

Motor overheated at the end of last summer, lost compression on the top two cylinders on the starboard side of the motor. Pulled the head off today and this is what I found.

Aside from obviously a headgasket, will the head need to be replaced also? Also you can see very light scoring on the cylinder wall, can only be felt with a fingernail. Can this just be honed out?

Opinions will vary.----I say the motor needs to come apart for inspection.

Upon further research seems like I should pull the powerhead, hone, and install new rings on the 2 affected cylinders. Then new head and gasket. Am I missing anything?
