I’m currently have an issue with the fuel pump relay not getting power to the fuel pumps(high and low pressure). I have checked the relays but am not getting the proper ground from the wire that goes from the ecm to the relay. As a quick fix I have resulted in taking power from the ignition switch to the fuel pumps resulting in both fuel pumps running when the ignition is in the on position. I plan on getting the ecm tested once the season is over. Does anyone see an I issue running the boat like this Atleast till I get the ecm tested after the season is over?
Thanks

I have been running mine that way for years. Don't leave ignition switch on when engine is not running. Also, if engine oil pressure drops it will not shutdown engine. I did the same on my outdrive lift bypassed the troublesome relays and installed a three way toggle switch ( momentary hold)

Its a safety thing, so long as nothing happens which probably won't

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... It's unsafe to do that without an oil pressure shut-down switch wired into the circuit,.....
