1998 50hp carb-can't stop it from leaking

i have this motor its a bf50a BAZL-2000021 and have rebuilt the carb 2 times and can not stop the gas from leaking from the disc on the side . carb #2, p/n

of course this carb is no longer available. im about to through in the towel on this one, i do not know why i can't get this resolved.
can anyone give me an idea on what to do next?

Had the same problem, under the disc is the vent for the carb. The carb is flooding. On my carb with bowl off and float and needle off the carb, I found a quite small piece of rubber on the needle valve seat. Removed and solved that problem.

i resolved the problem, i ordered and replaced everything available in side the carb and the issue cleared up
