Hey guys,
Just wanted to check something with you, i'm looking at a new project motor, its a 98 115ELPTO 4 cycliner oil injected. The powerhead is currently all disasembled and the damage is isolated to cylinder #1. Looks like the piston broke just about the upper ring, and a large chunk few out and runined the remaining bit of piston, and the cylinder lineing.
My question is, can you get replacement sleves for the cyclinder? or is this like the inline 6's where its just part of the block? Can it still be slavaged?

WBM;

You don't provide your engine s/n but here is a service manual for the '98 115:

http://1manual.com/Mercury manuals/Service Manual PDFs/TwoStroke/830234r3/cover.pdf

You must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed to use this manual. If you scroll down to the lower part of the opening page, you will see the various engine components in red. Click on the one you want and when the first page opens, click on the "Save As" icon at the top LH corner of the page and you can save it to your computer.

Look under Powerhead, page 4-41 for overboring sizes.
