Fishing around dams, I need to keep motor running at idle and ready to move and drift at will. This motor is dying too much. Does it have an idle screw? Does anyone else have this problem? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What is your current idle speed (rpm) in gear?

I'm not sure, but would guess about 600.

Too low. Should be about 750.

Where is the idle screw located? And, thanks.

Look at the linkage on the right side of the engine. Have someone move the warm up lever, up and down, you'll see the idle stop screw where it touches the block.

Thanks-a-million. I will set the idle speed to 750. I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Now for the Stripe and Catfish. :)
