I have owned a 3 cylinder, 35 h.p Johnson outboard since 1995. My nieghbor experienced problems with his a year ago and hasn't solved it yet. He has been boatless since then. The thing has been in every shop around here and to no avail. E-GADS now mine is doing the same thing! When the throttle is applied the motor dies like a dog. Have replaced the oil sender, pump, thermostat, water pump, new plugs, and gas filter. It has just started to do this. The gas seems clean and I take care to ensure that everything is well maintained. Still it seems to idle good, but as soon as the engine is under load, and accelerated it cuts out just like someone shut off the ignition. Has anyone experienced this problem with the 3 cylinder model. Any and all help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks- Jim Turner
