Figured bI would start a thread about making this boat mine and adressing the issues I have found mostly bringing gelcoat back to life that has been neglected. There are a couple areas of gel that will need minor repair as well as a couple interior issues. Finally supposed to be decent weather this weekend so I will get some pics.I have already stripped most of the factory stripes and graphics using an eraser wheel which works great but be prepared for chunks of debris to end up everywhere.I also used Starbrite ultimate hull cleaner to remove deep stains on the stern, just sprayed it on came back in 30 minutes hosed it off and looks almost new.I have been using automotive compound and polish to work on the hull so far and found a deal on the Meguairs fiberglass products on amazon so hope to try that this weekend.I will start attacking the bottom paint with some chemical stripper and see how that goes.

did take pics just have to load them.Good 8 hours of work done today.Compounded, polished and waxed %75 of the boat, removed the rest of the stripes and cleaned the lower portion of the hull with Starbtite hull cleaner which worked really well. Now I know why boat detailers charge so much.I have never had to attack a car or motorcycle like this but so gratifying to see how she is turning out!
