1993 60 help!!!!

Hello all. I had posted previously about my no spark issue with my 60 evinrude. I finally had to take it in to a mechanic. He checked stator, rectifier, timer base, and pack. Turns out the pack is bad. I get a new one and STILL no spark and engine will not fire. Compression is good. Tried disconnecting black yellow wire at pack and still nothing I am really at a loss. What else could it be. Anything else I need to check before I junk this boat. Desperate here and any help is appreciated

Did mechanic give it back to you with no spark?
You didnt mention coils

I do not know how to check the coils. I put new pack on myself. Wasn't going to pay 80 bucks for him two screw on a couple of bolts and connect a few wires lol

To check your coils have a read through this, it lists your engine and the check to do

Thanks. Isn't fairly rare for all three coils to fail at the same time?

Yes rare, but if you have never had it running it might of happened while it was sitting for a while.
Check for cracking on them

Since you are getting spark on none id start with double checking the stator.

Checked stator and trigger and both check out ok. This has me scratching my head lol
