It's a 30 yr. old boat, which if well maintained is fine. A 30 yr old boat that was taken care of such as frequent oil changes, tune ups, drive system maintained & the interior protected from the elements is better then a 5 yr. old boat that was neglected. That being said I would check the deck, stringers & transom for rot & water intrusion which can be very expensive & time consuming to repair. A sea trial is a must & make sure all the paperwork is in order including clear title, etc.Looking at one for possible purchase. Has 802 hours. Seems to be well maintained. Does anyone know of specific concerns with these boats or engines that I should look for or check before purchase.
What he said. The driveline is robust. But with that age look for rot. If the boat has been left uncovered walk away. It's a 30 yr. old boat, which if well maintained is fine.
