Hi all I have a 91 30hp yamaha that I would like to check the timing on first step would be check the pointer is in the right spot I have a dial gauge and the manual. In the book it says turn flywheel clockwise and stop it when the piston is at tdc then set piston at 0.14 inch btdc and set timing plate at 25 deg btdc. So the queston is should I turn the flywheel back 0.14 of an inch and set the pointer there at tdc or set the pointer at the actual tdc any would be appreciated thx
