Engine started following problem about week ago:starts fine at dock, can increase throttle while motor is out of gear no problem, achieves WOT ok. While in forward or reverse gear, runs fine without stalling at idle. Can run like that all day. But when get to ski zone and want to open it up, it boggs out and stalls. Will start right back up each time, but when try again to achieve high throttle while in gear, it stalls completely out again. Bulb on tank NOT compressed. After about 4-5 tries of attempting to get it to go, it will, and runs great for any length of time you wish, but when you flare out of ski zone, go to idle and/or neutral, then attempt to get to high rpm again, same thing happens. Took it in for repair this morning--at first blush, guy said it sounds like bad impeller and switch activating which prevents motor from overheating due to faulty impeller going bad. Any thoughts on what else to check??
