Im doing a dual captains chair/ rear bench setup on my capri. Im curious about the seat boxes. The bottom inside the seat boxes is higher than the floor, so when I go to cut the seat boxes off, is it hollow underneath? Or is the deck extended under where the seat boxes are also?

I posted a picture of my current drivers seat.

Thanks. -Matt

My 93 Capri 1800 is the same way....big open hole and lots of foam under seat bases. Even better yet there is no support under where the hole is so you would have to install some to patch hole if you wanted to remove.

well that sucks, i seen on a 1986 project that the deck continued under the seat boxes. Guess they changed that in the later years. Thanks for the replies!
