I was given a 89 model 100 with two bad cylinders. I have a 89 115 block that's been setting for a while(just the block).

Can I put all the electrical, and carbs off the 89 100 to the 89 115 block?

What should I do to prepare the 115 block to be put back in service? I don't know exactly how long It's been setting but It's been 8 to 10 years is my guess.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was hopping for.

I did a compression test(120/120/116/116). Looked inside and still has cross hatch in all cylinders. Going to replace all fuel lines.

My boat is only rated for a 90 hp engine. so I should be good with this motor.

Thanks.
