Noticed last 2 years engine pressure is running higher than normal but in the ok zone. Just pulled out of fresh water and last day engine idled rough so had to turn up. Changed oil was cream color. Changed cap, rotor, wires, plugs but still idled rough. Oil okay but only ran 10 minutes. When placed at 3/4 throttle defogged engine which seemed easier than usual because it was easier to kill engine.
Possible problems? Estimated costs?Good places to service within 80 miles of Chelmsford mass?

If you are saying the engine oil was cream colored...that indicates water getting into the engine. Obviously...that's not good. Don't know what engine model you're running...but it's very possible the exhaust manifold is cracked...allowing water to enter engine via exhaust port. I'd look there first...and soon. You'll have to remove the exhaust manifold (s) and have them pressure tested. Look for rust at all exhaust ports... If they are the original exhaust manifolds...they're about finished anyway... Most don't last even 12 years.

Keep us posted...and give us more engine info...

Walt
