I looked into the fuel pumps and the fuel pumps that are on the internet for my boat look nothing like the fuel pump on my boat. My boat used to be oil injected and is no longer. Would they have switched the type of fuel pump if they made it no longer use oil injection? Thanks
I'm not experienced at all on working on these boats. My boat used to be oil injected but that was removed and it now is premixed. Would this have caused them to change the fuel pump? What I thought was the fuel pump was a brass colored cylinder looking pump thing with 2 wires coming off of it. one was orange and one was black. This was on the fuel line right after the tank and before the fuel filter. It is about 5 inches long and a diameter of 2 inches. Is this not a fuel pump?
