I have a soft spot in the Floor of my 1986 Pro-Craft. Is this anything to be concerned about. And is there a way to Repair. Does not take on any Water.<br /><br />Thanks.
You have rot in the plywood. Needs to be fixed, but more important is whether or not there is rot in stressed structural components.<br /><br />Not good news. Rip it out and look for softness in stringers. Use only marine grade plywood in repairs.<br /><br />Good luck.<br />Red sky at night. . . . <br />JB
Get regular plywood, not even treated, make sure it is dry and paint it and glue it in with polyester resin. It will cost half as much and last a lifetime.
