1985 Evinrude 15hp Need Help

I got this engine a few weeks ago and it did not run well so I took it to a shop to get fixed. They cleaned the carbs and put new impeller on. The engine ran good for about a week and all the sudden problems.
Took it out and was cruising around and it just shut off. No spuddering just died. Then cranked it back up and ran good. Took it out next day and did the same thing. Tried to start it up and could not keep it running. Now it takes a little while to start it up and when I put the engine in gear it dies. Does anyone know what my problem is and/or how to fix it?
I just tried to crank it up a minute ago and it would only run with the choke all the way out. As soon as I push it in it dies.

your carb is dirty again is my 1st inclination. if it were mine i would clean the carb again. and install new alcohol resistant fuel lines. tank to motor. the ethanol in todays fuel, softens the inside of the old lines, handling them causes them to start sluffing off on the inside, this settles in the bottom of the carb bowls, clogging the pickups for the jets. running with the choke on, means it is starving for fuel.
