1981 25 h.p. Mercury, Nota sparkin

I have a 25 h.p. Mercury, that wouldn't start, I checked the plugs to see if they were getting fire to them and found that they were not. If anyone can tell why and how to fix the problem would appreciate it.<br /><br />Thank!!!
