Hello to everyone I found a free boat and trailer on craigslist. After spending 200.00 for a set of tires and redoing the wheel bearings she is at the farm. And the story is the boat was sold many times over with no title,I have the bills of sale. I did not want to put all the work into a boat I cant register, but I did trace down the original owner through a DNR employe who was very helpful. Fingers crossed I dialed the number got her machine and left a message. The next day she called me back, she is 88 year old and said, " Do you how log ago that was " what a sweetheart she is. She told me she will look but could not promise anything. Days went bye I got a call from her I have some papers for some boats I will send them to you The papers were not for this boat.....Light at the end of the tunnel getting darker. Three days later she called to see if it was the right stuff, sadly I said no, when she said I found some titles....... BINGO.. she found it and is sending it to me. For some strange reason this was meant too be. Thank you for listening Bob

Bob, that was your lucky day! Here's hoping you have many more on the rebuild.
