1973 65 hp

Looking at a 1973 evinrude 65 hp motor comes with controls,has spark in all 3 cylinders and compression
1 135
2 135
3 120
It has sat for min 3 years compression taken without any oil in cylinder looking at approx worth thanks in advance for your replies

Fifteen psi difference between highest and lowest compression reading spells trouble. This is usually due to having a carburetor foul which results in a cylinder to run lean. Suggest you inspect that bottom cylinder for scoring.

15 psi is the max that the OMC service manual says you can have. A good decarb may help it . Get a wan light and look into the spark plug hole and see what the cyl looks like.
