My friend and I purchased a 1973 14.5' Aluminum Starcraft boat that has no boat identification plate(?) and need to know the passenger capacity and motor HP capacity.

We'd also like to know the value of the boat after we fix it up. We purchased the boat with a 1964(?) Dilly Trailer rotted tires free of charge, one of which popped on our journey home, which is why the trailer is on top of the boat. The total cost was 550$.

We'd like to also know if it would be easy to purchase new or used parts for the boat.

You and your life partner more like.

I've seen alot of boats in my time, being a pro boat guy, and I have to say you bought a turkey. I wouldn't take $550 from someone to dispose of that junk.

We found the plate, it was underneath the steering wheel bit. It's apparently a Sunbird, but modified with a windshield and painted.

And ignore that guy above, that's one of my friends being a great friend.

I think the windshield mod is pretty cool.

Haven't painted it yet, changing the rug and just using a 40lb trolling motor and 2.5hp Mercury. This was a week ago.
