Just picked up a 1971 offshore 18' outboard hull from craigslist. In pretty decent shape with the exception of the floor and the previous owner stripped the windshield off as well as the bow railing and a few other small items including one of the cast aluminum transom corners. I Plan to restore this for Canadian fishing trips, and wondering if anyone might know where I might find a windshield bow rail and transom corner (I had an earlier post looking for the corners) Also, the boat came without a motor, and I was thinking about using the 70 hp Johnson off my 16' Starcraft SS. I'm not too concerned with getting anywhere fast, just wondering if it would be to under powered.
