hi guys i need the expert advice of this fine community once again..while recently adding accessories to my boat ,lights bilge pump and horn i inadvertently ran the battery down..so i decided to boost it with my truck..a peterbilt with 4 1000 cold cranking amp batteries being charged by a 165 amp alternator.so i used the boat that day with no problems and then again on another day about 3 hours in total, then i took it and put it in the harbour here in halifax and 30 minutes into our voyage the motor jjjjust quit.got it home got looking and found that the wires had melted right off the back of the regulator/rectifier,put on another one still no spark then i put on a new coil still no spark..anyone have any idea where to go from here on how to diagnose the no fire condition?? thanks
