I'm looking at buying a 15' Starcraft it's a runabout style and the engine runs but not great. I don't believe that it's the original engine. I was wondering if anyone out there might know what size motor originally can with this style boat.
I have 1965 15ft. I run a 1966 40hp Evinrude twin. Handles well with that size moter. Run open 4700 rpm. runs about 30 mikes a hr or more. A 40hp is a good fit for that boat
