1959 16' Starcraft runabout

Hello...I'm new to the forum. I have a 1959 16' Starcraft aluminum hull runabout...in good shape (minus the motor) but in need of restoration work. Anyone else have this year/model? I'm looking for any specs, esp weight of hull without a motor. I see that the "specs" list on this forum only goes back to 1957. Anyone have resources or ideas?

Interesting looking boat. The paint job looks original. Can you post some more pics? Different angles and interior.

That's a cool looking boat, would like to see more pics as well. If it's built anything like the 10' 1957 Starcraft rowboat I had, it's heavy. They used some heavy gauge aluminum back then. Great for bouncing off rocks and stumps, not so great if you bought the boat to put in small lakes that you have to drag the boat to the water because they don't have a launch ramp!

hi i just purchased 14 foot fiberglass boat-similiar picture was a 1959 holidqy-its blue -with 40 hp johnson-any info would be appreciated-saw it fell in love and bought it-peace

I grew up with a duplicate to this boat...paint job and all. That boat will perform with a 70hp motor. Enjoy it.

I just got this same boat. I grew up with it, my Grandpa owned it!
