Ok i drained the gas and put the flushing device on and hooked up the hose. I have never seen this done before so i dont know if it was working properly. Water was spraying out of the sides of the round attatchment. I dont know if it is suposed to do that or if it is supost to grip and fit better. I started and let run for 15 seconds and i didnt get the stream of water out of the back of the engine that someone said to look for so i shut it off. My plan is to take it to the lake tomarow and see what it does. I need advise on what to look for on my first run. it sounded real good. I am a new boater and realy appreciate the advise.

The stream of water should come out from the starboard side of the lower cover if the tell-tale is functional.
