. On the serious side, regardless of what problem one might have, always check the compression and ignition (spark) first. The compression on your engine should be in the range of 100+ psi and even on all cylinders, and the spark (with the s/plugs removed) should jump a 7/16" gap on all cylinders with a strong blue flame.<br /><br />If the above checks out okay, I'd suspect that you have fouled carburetors, or that the timer base (under the flywheel) is sticking (not sliding smoothly up against the full spark advance screw... rubber stop). It's also possible that the "L" shaped linkage to the timer base has come loose which would eliminate any spark advance.<br /><br />Let us know what you find.
