hi, i have a 85 evinrude 115hp v4 and it seems to be lacking power on take off. my buddy have a 18 foot procraft boat similar to mine but mine is only a 17fter. he only has 90hp same year model as and his will overtake mine on out of the hole and top end. both are running planing fins and 1310 prop. it takes a while for the rpms to build up and by them hes long gone. i thought heck he out weighs be by 240 lbs. and still can out power me. no modifcaIONS HAVE been done.please help.
